We invite you to take part in the International Research to Practice Conference “Syndromic ASD: Fragile X Syndrome (FXS)”.

To participate in the conference are invited: healthcare and education professionals – general practitioners, fertility doctors, geneticists, psychiatrists, neurologists, psychologists, speech therapists, special teachers; non-profit organizations representatives, parents of children with FXS and autism spectrum disorders, students, graduate students and researchers.

Aim of the conference – introduce up-to-date neurobiological, clinical and psychological research on FXS as well as modern approaches on detection, diagnostics, therapy and support to the family.

Key topics of the conference:

  1. Up-to-date scientific understanding of FXS.

  2. Diagnostics and medicamental therapy of FXS.

  3. Psycho-educational support of children with FXS, the role of state educational organizations and parental organizations.

  4. Premutation of the FMR1 gene and the health profile of family members raising a child with FXS.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION TO THE SPECIAL ISSUE OF THE JOURNAL “AUTISM & DEVELOPMENTAL DISORDERS” (Russia)

Manuscripts for publication are accepted in accordance with the standards and recommendations of the Journal. The topics of scientific articles must correspond to one of the declared topics of the conference. The editors accept both experimental and survey manuscripts. 

Submissions are accepted by the editorial e-mail autismjournal2003@gmail.com. In the subject line of email, please, specify “To the FX Special Issue”.
